Any assistant that speaks MCP can ask tabhood what local shops sell, the price, if it’s in stock and if they’re open, ranked the same way people see it, with no paid placement. Reading is free and needs no account.

The board is filling up; answers can be empty. Porto and Vila Nova de Gaia first, starting in 4400.

Three tools

board.search(query, near, openNow?, limit?)
Finds items on the boards near a Portuguese postal code, ranked by match, stock, freshness, distance and price. Each answer has the shop, its board link, the item, its unit, price in cents, stock and freshness.
board.shop(slug)
Reads one shop’s board by its slug: trade, address, open now or not, and every current item.
board.zones()
Lists the postal zones where tabhood runs, with how many shops each has on the board.

Set it up in Claude

  1. Open Settings, then Connectors.
  2. Choose “Add custom connector”, name it tabhood and paste the URL below.
  3. In a chat, ask: “Who sells olive oil, 5 L, near 4400?”

How it behaves

  • Read-only: no tool changes anything on the board.
  • The same ranking as the site: match, stock, freshness, distance and price. No shop pays to be higher.
  • No personal data: answers carry shops’ public details and a link to their board, never a phone number. Calls are counted, the words are not kept.
  • 60 requests a minute per address and per client; past that, a clear 429 says when to try again.
