When you need it
- When
- When you move out of a studio or one-bedroom flat, move a few pieces of furniture or collect something bought second-hand.

What to tell the pro
- What needs moving: a list or photos

What to ask them

- Pros that fit are asked one at a time. You get a price, a counter-offer or a visit first.

How much does a small move cost?
It depends on how much there is, stairs and lifts, parking, distance and any assembly. With tabhood you set your maximum and only pros whose price fits are asked.
Is it by the hour or a fixed price?
Both are common. A fixed price suits a clear list; by the hour suits a job that’s hard to measure. You see which before you say yes.
Do I need to pack?
Usually yes: if they pack for you, boxes and packing are extra. Say in your request what is packed and what isn’t.
Can they collect something I bought second-hand?
Yes. Say where to collect it, where it goes and how big it is, or send a photo; the seller should have it ready.
What if no pro fits my price?
You see the closest public price and decide. Your request can stay open and we message you when a pro fits.
